"On Sunday, 14th June, my wife and I were travelling down to Waterford on the M9 when a low tyre pressure warning sign came up on my dashboard indicating low pressure on my nearside rear tyre. After driving a few hundred metres I suspected something more serious and as I drove onto the hard shoulder the tyre had a blowout. I changed to my space saver spare and checked the burst to a worn section of the inside shoulder of the tyre. My wife checked ahead for a tyre centre in Waterford for a replacement next day. When we drove into the city we saw that the Tom Geraghty tyre centre was literally 2 minutes walk from our hotel. Next morning I called to see if they had a Firestone replacement. I spoke to a person who must have been an owner and he said he didn't think he had a Firestone replacement but could offer an alternative with a similar tread pattern. Just as he told me that an assistant who had been looking through the stock told the owner he could get a Firestone tyre within half an hour. I went back with my Volvo S60 an hour later and a fitter, Anthony, replaced the tyre but not before explaining the reason for the blowout of my old tyre. I had noticed a 'popping' noise on good road surfaces but not on worn surfaces. I had the car checked by my local garage sensing either a tyre noise or exhaust noise, They road tested the car and checked tyres and exhaust and nothing untoward was spotted, the fault was obviously ballooning out on the inside shoulder of the tyre and not seen. Anthony explained the cause of the 'popping' noise without me even mentioning it. By 10 am I drove away having had a first class experience with this garage and everyone of the staff I spoke to was courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!"

Was ready to go in approximately 20 minutes!. Pressure was checked in the other tires also. A couple of the technicians also interacted with me. Polite & kind. It's always such a pleasure to go there! When I settled my bill I also had a giggle with David in the office...always courteous & professional.
